Forecast: the starting rotation should be the strength of the team. It doesn't rival the Phillies' staff (who does?), but it has a nice balance of veterans (Lowe & Hudson) and potential (Hanson & Jurrjens). I'm going out on a limb here, but I think Hanson wins 20 games this year. He has the stuff and is coming off a rough, often snake-bitten season (no run support). |

These guys better be good and stay healthy if the Braves are going to compete for the wildcard this year. The bullpen (tomorrow's topic) is a bit scary and the line-up has more question marks than the Riddler's pant legs, so the rotation has to be the anchor. On paper, it ought to be. |
